South Beach Love, a rom-com celebrating Latin music

I am thrilled to have scored a very special movie, SOUTH BEACH LOVE, for the Hallmark Channel! I have written Latin music before (and for those who don’t know, I’m half Irish and half Mexican), but this movie was a deep dive into salsa, Cuban music, and everything from marcha abajo to marcha arriba. The amazing Camilo Rodriguez produced the score, wrote some beautiful songs, and made sure we got the authentic sound, while the fabulous Michael Van Bodegom-Smith wrote additional music and played some chop-busting trumpet and trombone parts. Once again Louie Schultz plays heartbreaking guitar parts.

Thank you Elisa Oliveras for bringing me on board, and Damian Romay for directing a beautiful movie.
