Hollywood Classics concert with the Moravian Philharmonic Orchestra

What a joy it was to conduct the premiere of my new piece, “Sunrise,” with the Moravian Philharmonic Orchestra as part of their Hollywood Classics concert in the beautiful city of Olomouc. The Los Angeles Film Conducting Intensive, led by Conrad Pope and Angel Velez, brought together twelve film and TV composers for a week-long workshop consisting of conducting lessons, score study, rehearsals, and Czech beer tasting (OK, that one was extracurricular). Getting rehearsal time with the orchestra every day was a treat, and it was fun to get to know the other composers and their work.
